Installer Mcboot Sur Ps2
Hi, I've came to ask something very urgent & important um. Is it possible to make ps3mca-tool fmcb compatible for third party adapter? Because i only have that and not an official one sadly:-( but the weird thing is that my computer can Actually READ it & install the driver files for it but when it comes to the app and try installing it or formatting it, it'll show up as ERROR signing kelf! Please if anyone knows how to add support for the third party adapters let me know asap i can. Thanks if so! Here's a Korean site I've found that i think has the source code files (well just two.txt files only) i apologize for the many posts on this thread it's just can't let the app go MIA or whatever ya know? Debonair magazine 2012 pdf. Plus you may get questions like this in the future someday that may ask the same thing and might wanna contribute to a dead program or whatever.
If there's Anyway i can do to help to make this happen, please consider it just for this one time. I really really want Free MCboot (and also honestly I'm doing this for a friend of mines). The guy who attempted to make it compatible with the PS3MCA package reported that it would just fail. Since it would just fail, it could be just incapable of supporting MagicGate fully. If it's impossible, it is impossible.
Hi all, I've come to ask if you can install Free McBoot on PCSX2.? I was just wondering, as I Free McBooted my PS2 ages ago, and I wanted to do it again (don't know why, hehe) Thanks Rally-boy123.
I don't even have this device and nobody has specifications for it. It's almost like a different device since it doesn't function exactly the same as its original. It's the same as getting a clone network adaptor to work as well as an official one: the makers didn't have the Sony specifications and probably made it to just work, from their point of view. But just it wasn't copied accurately. I do have the original source code for the PS3MCA package as I got a copy of the entire package (which consists of more than just 2 files) from its repository, before it was taken down in 2011. Yeah true, if that's the case then i guess i have no choice but to buy a Swapmagic 3.8 off from Amazon as my second option and i believe i've could've been done in a minute installing the lastest version of Free MCboot easily but sadly i've made a huge mistake and i'm sorry for completely wasting your time and maybe anyone elses who've thought the same. Well i did had this one other alternative method/question, is it very possible if i could or someone made the ability to connect my memory card adapter i have and use it on PCSX2 while running Free MCboot app off from the emulator?
That way no one gets the feeling that they've wasted their money on the wrong adapter. Hi, I've came to ask something very urgent & important um. Click to expand.KELF installations are non-transferable, meaning that FMCB cannot be copied across cards. Anyway, the Debugstation is probably incapable of signing KELFs that are meant for retail sets. Even if you could make an installation (that was modified for use with Debugstation consoles), it will probably not boot on retail consoles. The easiest way to get stuff onto the SCPH-10000 without tampering with the console, is to use the independence exploit on it.
Otherwise, the PS3MCA package and a PS3MCA.
As far as I know you can Not copy a Free Mcboot install from 1 card (Virtual or otherwise) to another one, it need to be installed on the card in question you want it on. Thou I have read loosly about a system to install free Mcboot from a Pc to a Ps2 memory card using a 'Usb to ps2 memory card adapter', but I do not recall them using pcsx2 or a virtual card to do this. Last time I checked you need either swap magic and the sensor block or this usb to ps2 memory card adapter for Pc to make an install. Can not give you any specifics on the usb adapter or all the steps involved to make it work, as I have not read up on it properly, sure thou there might be a kind soul here that can inform you more on the adapter and steps. Can i do this? Copy my ps2's bios then use those as my pcsx2's bios. Then i can launch free mcboot using the 'run elf' command in pcsx2. I then install it in a virtual memory card. I copy the contents of the memory card to my USB, use AR to transfer the contents of virtual memory card's files to a real mc. Is this possible? If yes, what are the specific steps to do this?
That is impossible. Reasons:. PCSX2 does not fully emulate the Playstation 2 console's drive MECHAnics CONtroller (MECHACON) fully and properly. PCSX2 might not be able to emulate the PS2 accurately enough to make a successful FMCB installation.
The Memory Card ID (MCID) of the Virtual Memory Card is surely different from your memory card's, and hence the FMCB installation (if it even does get installed successfully) will not boot on your card. You cannot connect the memory card to a PC, without an adaptor. So you need to purchase one. If you purchase the Sony PS3 Memory Card adaptor, it's probably better for you to opt for the PS3MCA approach. Or, if you can get access to another PS2 of any region that can run homebrew software, use my FMCB v1.8C installer and make an installation for your memory card. I was hoping this would work. I tried using 4 flash drives i think and my AR won't recognize the freemcboot elf nor the fceultra.
The swapmagic one via usb and it almost worked but it got stuck in the smboot0. Thank you guys for answering but i have a question. When i choose smboot0 when i use the swapmagic method, does it take a while before it loads the freemcboot? The last time i did that, it stayed at that part. Btw, where can i get an elf file of swapmagic?
And which version is better? I heard the 3.6 i think was better than 3.8 or something like that. I was hoping this would work. If Swapmagic freezes when you plug in your USB device (Usually, it'll freeze at the 'Swapmagic' screen), it means that your USB device isn't compatible. Swapmagic comes bundled with USB drivers that suffer from much higher incompatibility rates.
Ps2 Mcboot Download
You have to own a real set of Swapmagic discs. Downloading the ELF (Executable) or burning a copy of Swapmagic will not work. I heard that Swapmagic 3.6 is better, since Swapmagic 3.8 was reported to have some incompatibilities with games that have a larger TOC.
